A New Facility Seeking to expand operations in Northeast Indiana, Alconex, a magnet-wire production manufacturer,
sought out a contractor that could develop a new facility located in Fort Wayne, IN. Chosen to serve as
Construction Manager as Constructor, Weigand took on this 110,000sf industrial project.
 

PRODUCTION SPACE EFFICIENCY

With $4.5M invested in this construction, our team wanted to provide a space that would help our
customer get the most value out of every square inch. By the end of the design phase, Alconex landed
on a layout that made a majority of the square footage an expansive production floor. Offices, test labs,
and administrative support rooms occupied a two-story structure along one corner of the building.
