Parkview Field, home of the Fort Wayne TinCaps, is a central feature of the Harrison Square revitalization project intended to encourage participation in and around the downtown Fort Wayne area. Weigand Construction served as construction manager of the Parkveiw Field project, as well as manager of the infrastructure costs and logistics for Harrison Square. In addition to the playing field, highlights of the ballpark include approximately 6,500 fixed seats, 16 suites, a suite-level lounge, a party deck, dining areas/specialty seating, concession facilities, a general commissary, team administration office space, press facilities, and a box office. Grass berms, on-site parking, a children’s play area, concourse areas for flexible team programming and a conference center space complete the $30.6 million facility.
Following the success of the original construction of Parkview Field, Weigand Construction was awarded General Contractor for the 400 Club. To further enhance the fan experience at Parkview Field, the 400 Club is the newest addition perched atop the centerfield wall. This unique area features an outdoor patio and retractable garage-style doors. With space to accommodate 20-150 guests, the 400 Club boasts food and drink services for individuals and private parties. The Summit, a group seating rooftop atmosphere addition, was completed for the 2016 season. The area offers both ballpark and club-style seating that can accommodate 125 fans per game.
