Terry Emmons

Masonry Division Manager

Bio

After a career in the construction industry from 1979, Terry joined Weigand Construction in 1998, as an engineer/draftsmen/detailer in the precast division of Masolite Concrete Products. He now is the Masonry Division Manager at Weigand Construction.

His favorite Weigand Construction project affiliation was the Allen County Justice Center. One of the first large masonry projects undertaken by Weigand Construction, the project is an architectural icon for downtown Fort Wayne. The architect allowed Weigand Construction to enhance the project by incorporating various bricklaying techniques that added to the overall building appearance. The project garnered Weigand Construction the distinction of the 2005 International Masonry Institute Golden Trowel Award and also received national attention by the International Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen Union for its craftsmanship.

Terry is heavily involved in local, state, and national organizations relating to the promotion and education of the masonry industry, serving as President of the Indiana Mason Contractors Association, Program Board of Directors for the International Masonry Institute, Executive Board Member of the Midwest Masonry Council, and Trustee for the Indiana Contractors Association Legislative Committee.
