Bio

A 1987 graduate of Purdue University�s school of Building Construction and Management, Jay joined Weigand Construction in 2004 as a Project Manager. Having 22 years of experience in design-build construction, Jay now leads our Diversified Building Services Division. This division concentrates on Design-Build projects in the Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Religious and Food Process markets. This delivery process provides a single source service of design and construction from concept through construction to completion. This process also includes a fast track method of construction that shortens the total duration allowing the owner to occupy the building sooner. An example of this design-build/fast track delivery is the 32,000 sf, 25-bed critical care expansion to Community Memorial Hospital of Hicksville, Ohio. This project was completed in just eleven months including the Emergency Department, O.R. Suite, Pre/Post Operation area, Labor/Delivery Suite and new Commons area with Dining Hall.
